Huawei merges Member Center and My Huawei app

Huawei recently issued a notice on the merger of the Member Center app and the My Huawei app. Both of these apps are used to provide different mobile services for smartphones and Huawei smart devices.

The merger will happen on December 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM in China and the company will upgrade the entire merger as “My Huawei” membership system 2.0.

After the merging process, the Member Center app and My Huawei app will share a 1:1 ratio of user experience. However, the app will be called only My Huawei and the other app will be discontinued as a result.

Under the note, the company already served a notice for the Member Center app by June 30 this year and it stopped providing interactive services such as posting and commenting from 10:00 on June 30, 2023. Users are allowed to export a copy of their data before the services are discontinued on December 31, 2023.

After the above-mentioned date, the Huawei Member Center community will no longer be able to download copies of the user data, browse content, comment on posts, or check other community announcements. My Huawei will also address any paid subscription to provide better services.
