Huawei may rollout the EMUI 10 beta update for the Mate 20 series alongside P30 series

At Huawei Developer Conference 2019, Wang Chenglu, president of Huawei’s consumer BG software department, introduced EMUI 10.

At the press conference, Wang Chenglu announced that EMUI 10 will be launched in the next generation Mate series – Huawei Mate 30 series.

At the end of the conference, Wang Chenglu also announced that the Huawei P30 series and other models will be the first to get the EMUI 10 beta version on September 8, and the Mate 20 series will be launched later. The company didn’t confirm the EMUI 10 beta rollout date for Huawei Mate 20 series, they said it will be in September.

Well, we have information about the possible rollout date for the Mate 20 series. Huawei may release the EMUI 10 beta update for its Mate 20 series smartphones along with Huawei P30 series. It should start rolling out by September 10. This timeline is only for Chinese variants.

According to our information, Huawei already testing EMUI 10 and Android Q beta on Huawei Mate 20 Pro. As we know, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is part of Google’s Android Q beta program – there should not be any delay to release the Beta or stable update for global users.
