Huawei may launch new MatePad tablets in third quarter this year

Last month, Huawei launched significant consumer devices including the MatePad 11.5S series tablets. But the company has seemingly saved some offerings and could unveil them in the next quarter with incredible functions and capabilities.

Weibo tipster @DirectorShiGuan says that Huawei and Honor have new tablets in their bag, which may debut in the third quarter of 2024. These tablets could carry more interesting changes, enhancements, and better features than their predecessors.

The name and specifications of these tablets are still a mystery. But we can expect them to be one of those that recently appeared on several certification websites.

An early leak suggested that Huawei is readying a HarmonyOS NEXT tablet for later this year. The details are hidden but due to the upgraded software version, the core features are likely to be smoother, responsive, and more efficient than ever.

Huawei MatePad 11.5S

MatePad 11.5-inch S tablet has launched on both the global and Chinese floors. Although the Chinese variant also accompanies a Smart model. A few tests revealed that Huawei has used Kirin 9000WL and 9000WM for standard and Smart versions.

Another interesting point is that the official introduction reads that MatePad 11.5S supports only 22.5W charging. But a tipster showed that this power charging capability can reach 66W in real-time. If you find these features interesting then the level could be increased with the upcoming tablets.
