Huawei is rolling out a new feature pack HarmonyOS update for the MatePad Pro 12.6-inch tablet. This software update brings new features, optimizations, and bug fixes. This same update is also being released for several flagships as well.

Identified with the HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.155 upgraded from version 2.0.0.132, this major update comes with a number of new changes and adds new functionalities to the existing features.

What’s New:

As per the changelog, this update brings HarmonyOS distributed capabilities to the camera. It adds a new multi-camera mode using which users can capture images via different connected devices using share network access such as Wi-Fi.

The new change in the Control Panel is worth mentioning, it makes it easy to switch between the notification center and the panel by just swiping left or right.

Furthermore, this new HarmonyOS update for MatePad Pro 12.6 also brings optimizations for the stylus writing experience and the display effect of the clock service widgets and control panel interface. the update also fixes a bug caused during turning pages using mouse wheels in some scenarios.

Apart from these new features and optimizations, this new firmware update also brings the latest July 2021 security patch for improved system security and device stability.

The MatePad Pro 12.6 is Huawei’s newly launched flagship tablet that comes pre-installed with HarmonyOS 2.0 software. It is powered by Kirin 9000 processor and is available in both Wi-Fi and Cellular version.

Furthermore, it has features such as a massive 10,000 mAh battery, a triple rear camera setup, and much more. On July, 29, the company has also unveiled a 512GB storage variant of this tablet.
