Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 2021 gets October 2022 update [Global]
Huawei is rolling out the October 2022 security update for MatePad Pro 12.6 2021 models in the global market. As the term suggests, the update aims to improve the security aspects of the tablet and boost the performance grade to the next level.
We have already stepped into November. Yet a few Huawei devices are still receiving last month’s security patch. Meanwhile, the Huawei P50 series has already gained the latest November 2022 package with numerous enhancements for the system.
But that isn’t a topic to concern as the October 2022 update brings along several fixes and improvements to its gadgets. Besides, it resolves more than 30 hidden exploits of the internal framework and strengthens it against harmful malware.
Currently, Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 users are obtaining the efficient October 2022 security update with HarmonyOS 2.0.0.245 build. Alongside, it holds a mini software package with a size of 233 Megabytes.
Although, the update is approaching the respective devices through the OTA medium. But you can evenly check on the update section of your tablet to install the latest firmware manually.
Just visit the Settings app, and select the System & Updates option. Now tap on Software Updates and carefully follow the on-screen prompts. Apart from the Settings menu, you can also turn to the My Huawei app for downloading the newest version.
