Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 global debut set for September 19
After smartwatches and a slim tablet, Huawei confirmed one more product for the global launch event – MatePad Pro 12.2. The company shared a new tablet teaser on its official X account, hinting a MatePad device is on the way for global consumers.
Huawei hasn’t revealed the device’s name in the teaser. But according to the teaser image, the tablet seems to be MatePad Pro 12.2. It has already launched in China and is now ready to step on the global platform with a range of useful features.
The shared teaser reads a description:

As per the image, the upcoming tablet will support an upgraded Glide Keyboard and stylus. Users can place the stylus on a specific slot given on the keyboard.
MatePad Pro 12.2 has appeared on the TDRA certification site alongside the MatePad 12X. Thus, we will likely find these two tablets sharing the launch stage on September 19. Huawei could confirm more info about these tablets in the coming days.

For the camera, the device is similar to MatePad Air 2024 and supports a 13MP + 8MP lens arrangement on the rear side. There is an 8MP selfie shooter on the front.
Huawei has published various teasers so far. These are mainly related to the upcoming smartwatches and tablets. But the company hasn’t revealed the name of any of these devices yet. Probably the mystery will be solved in the coming days.
