Huawei MatePad Pro 11-inch 2024 will be the world’s first satellite SMS tablet
Huawei MatePad Pro 11 2024 will unveil later this month and it’s revealed that the tablet will be the world’s first to feature satellite SMS technology.
A Weibo tipster has shared a screenshot of a tablet showing the satellite SMS feature onboard. The tablet in the screenshot has a similar appearance to the upcoming MatePad Pro 11 2024.
Therefore, it could be said that this 11-inch large-screen device will be using satellite SMS technology. It’s good to see that Huawei is expanding the use of such tech in the tablet series.
Last year, Huawei released the Mate 50 series with the first-ever satellite SMS feature. With such capability, the user can send an SMS without a mobile network.
Unlike the one-way system from Mate 50 Pro, the Huawei P60 Pro brought a two-way SMS feature to send and receive SMS via Satellite. However, Huawei Mate 60 Pro took this technology two steps further with the satellite calling feature. That said, the users can now call with satellite technology in emergency situations.
Currently, products including Huawei Mate X3 and X5 foldable, Nova 11 Ultra phones, and Huawei Watch Ultimate Smartwatch support satellite SMS capabilities.
Adding the new Huawei tablet to this campaign would offer a good innovation to consumers.
The previously launched, super-sized – Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch tablet is the first ever to equip new fast Bluetooth technology. The latency of the stylus is as low as 0ms and the official claims that the stylus could achieve a professional-grade writing and drawing experience for the user.
At last, the Huawei MatePad Pro 11-inch tablet will continue the trend of slim and large screen viewing experience. The image also confirms that the tablet will equip a punch-hole screen and there are lowest bezels all across the display.
