Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 users receiving December 2021 HarmonyOS update
Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 tablet users are installing the December 2021 HarmonyOS software update that brings system and security optimizations. To be mentioned, the Chinese tech maker has already delivered the December 2021 update to almost all eligible devices to date.
According to the information, the latest Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 software update brings the December 2021 HarmonyOS security patch for improved system security. In addition to this, it also added the support for first-gen Huawei M-Pencil to MatePad Pro users and more.
Also, the December 2021 firmware update comes with HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.222 in China. For your information, to upgrade over this version MatePad Pro 10.8 users need the HM OS base version 2.0.0.220 or 2.0.0.221.

HarmonyOS 3.0:
The fresh vibes of the next version of HarmonyOS that is HarmonyOS 3.0 have started arriving as the company has recently launched the HarmonyOS 3.0 developer preview beta 2.
Accoriding to the information, stable HarmonyOS 3.0 will release in July 2022 and beta testing for general consumers could begin in April this year.

Please keep in mind that this update will not erase your important data but we recommend you take a backup of data to prevent data loss. You keep your phone charged at least 50% and maintain enough storage for the installation of the update package.
HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATE:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
You can also request software updates through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the My Huawei app, tap on the update, then select Check for updates, and then download and install.
