Huawei MatePad C3 to launch soon in China, renamed version of MatePad T8
Huawei MatePad T8 made its debut last month in European markets. Adding to this list, Huawei has planned to launch the MatePad T8 renamed as Huawei MatePad C3 in China.
A Weibo tipster has leaked some of the Chinese Huawei website listings of Huawei MatePad C3. Revealing the specs, design, and images that completely match the Huawei MatePad T8.
Compared to the global version, the Huawei MatePad C3 may come with a 3GB RAM instead of 2GB in the Huawei MatePad T8.
The specs of the Huawei MatePad C3 includes an 8-inch display with HD+ resolution (1280 x 800), 80% screen to body ratio, and 4.9mm narrow bezels for a better view.
It is powered by MediaTek MT8768 processor, supported by 2GB RAM + 16/32GB internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 512GB. The tablet runs EMUI 10.0.1 (Android 10) with HMS apps.
This tablet comes with a 5MP f/2.2 aperture rear camera and a 2MP f/2.4 aperture front-facing camera.
It equips a large battery 5100mAh battery that can provide up to 3.5 weeks of standby, 12 hours of video playback, 12 hours of internet browsing.
Huawei MatePad T8 is priced at around $140 in the global market. In China, the tipster, in a separate post, suggested that the MatePad C3 may go around 1000 – 2000 yuan.
Currently, there’s no official information available about its release.
