Huawei MatePad Air, MateBook E and Matebook 2023 to unveil month
Huawei preparing for another launch event this month in China and the company will unveil its latest large-screen smart devices including the MatePad Air and MateBook 2023 models.
According to the Weibo tipster unclemoutain, Huawei will hold a launch conference around May 17 and will unveil new products. These include MatePad Air, Watch 4 series, Matebook E 2023, and Matebook X Pro 2023.
These are the newest addition to the Huawei smart devices cadre. As currently, there are no official details available on the event from Huawei’s side. However, we have some inputs that could come in handy.
Huawei MatePad Air:
Recently, Huawei recently certified new tablets with DBY2-AL00, DBY2Z-AL00, and DBY2-W00 model numbers. The first two equip 4G LTE connectivity, while the latter one comes with WiFi only. Furthermore, all of these devices are packed with a super large 8200mAh battery.
A list of supported game devices has confirmed “Huawei MatePad Air” as an actual device. Still, the specs remained undisclosed. The name refers to a lightweight design and Huawei Matepad Air may fulfill this criteria with some surprising elements.

Huawei MateBook E:
This is a two-in tablet or notebook device. The current generation of MateBook E runs Windows 11 and it transforms between tablet and laptop mode. You can do all sorts of activities with this 12.6-inch device. The upcoming MateBook E 2023 could take these aspects of the device two steps further and bring more simplicity while navigating between tablet and laptop.
MateBook 2023:
Although the tipster has revealed the identity of the MateBook 2023 notebooks but it could be either Huawei Matebook X or the MateBook 13 and 14 lineups. To speculate, we may see new tweaks in design, battery, and the new Intel or AMD processors.
Huawei Watch 4:
Last but not least, Huawei Watch 4 lineup is anticipated and it will be the main spotlight of the event. However, we are wondering what new it will offer as compared to the Watch 3 with LTE.
