The screen has a 144Hz refresh rate screen. It is paired with a high-performance flagship chip, making gaming and entertainment easy to control. The tablet also comes with an adaptive switching between 30-144Hz refresh rate and sharp picture technology.
The tablet uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core chipset. The architecture includes 1 × Cortex-X1 at 2.84GHz + 3 × Cortex-A78 at 2.42GHz + 4 × Cortex-A55 at 1.8GHz.
There are various new features coming with the HarmonyOS 3.1 operating system out of the box. There’s a 13MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP selfie. The tablet packs a large 8300mAh battery, which could go about 12 hours of local video playback. As it could recharge with a fast 40W charge.
Currently, the price of the Huawei MatePad Air remains unknown for global customers but there’s information about its price in China. Its Wi-Fi version price starts at 2800 yuan ($400) and its LTE version at 4499 yuan ($622).
