HarmonyOS 4.2 beta 2 update is now reaching Huawei MatePad 11 2023 tablet users in China. While the firmware packs some useful refinements for the device system, it might disappoint the device owners to some extent. Why so? Let’s find out!

The Chinese tech giant is serving another testing build to the MatePad 11 2023 tablet users. This tablet is still running on the closed beta whereas, other large-screen models have fetched the stable HarmonyOS 4.2 update and its amazing features.

In case you are expecting a huge list of features and changes with the second beta build for your handset, then wait! The company has only optimized the system stability with the HarmonyOS 4.2 beta 2 version for the Huawei MatePad 11 2023.

Yet a noteworthy point is that the latest firmware might eliminate all those glitches that might have been a headache for users running on the beta versions.

MatePad 11 2023 tablet owners may also find some internal changes and performance improvements after installing the newest version. Huawei is bringing the closed beta 2 update to the first 2000 beta testers enrolled in the HarmonyOS 4.2 testing activity.

  • MatePad 11-inch 2023 (DBR-W00)

Note that it’s a beta firmware and could risk your stored files and other important data. Hence we suggest taking a backup beforehand and using a standard Wi-Fi connection for installing the HarmonyOS 4.2 software update.

Make sure to have a sufficient amount of storage space, say 8GB, and at least 50% of the battery level to initiate the upgrade installation and conduct it smoothly.
