Huawei MatePad 10.8-inch getting June 2022 HarmonyOS update

Huawei has released the June 2022 security update for the Huawei MatePad 10.8-inch tablet users. The new update is arriving on the HarmonyOS platform with better improvements for the protection capabilities of the huge screen gadget.

The Huawei MatePad 10.8 update improves several programs’ usability while also enhancing system security. With consistent monthly upgrades for devices, the corporation essentially seeks to enhance the whole user experience.

Although, the recent update mainly installs the June 2022 HarmonyOS security patch for the Huawei MatePad 10.8-inch tablets to boost up the security flaws and encountered bugs in the recent running version.

However, the June update arrives with the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.261 built version, which is upgraded from the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.230. Thus, those users that carry this base version are eligible to obtain the latest software update.

The HarmonyOS June 2022 security patch promises to fix 7 medium and 1 high level of CVEs. Alongside, it also focused on fixes for third-party library vulnerabilities found in the last version of HarmonyOS 2.0 software version.

Here’s how to update:

You must visit the settings menu on your Huawei tablet and choose System & Updates, then Software Updates. The tablet will then connect to the server and download the most recent update for you when you tap CHECK FOR UPDATES.

Do not use the device until the update has finished once you have selected the download and install option after receiving the update. If the update doesn’t work, you can try again or call Huawei customer service.
