Huawei MateBook laptops will get free Windows 11 upgrade
After the U.S. sanctions in May 2019, Huawei MateBook laptops remained under major concern to lose partnership for Windows operating system. Later on, Microsoft got a license from the U.S. to supply the software for Huawei notebooks.
Since then, several Huawei notebooks have been launched with Windows 10 software. However, this year, Microsoft has launched a new version of Windows – Windows 11.
Windows 11 comes with various new upgrades over Windows 10, including the new user interface, round UI corners, better animations as well as the center-placed start menu.
Today, Huawei has officially confirmed that the company will fully support Windows 11 on its MateBook series laptops. This news is quite interesting and comes in reply to a MateBook owner.
Free Windows 11 Upgrade:
Huawei has also started a notification for the Huawei MateBok laptop users (pre-installed Windows 10) on the official website, which reads “Free upgrade to Windows 11”. The announcement made by the company is really appreciatable and will further enhance the trust of the consumers in the brand.
However, Windows 11 upgrade rollout plan is being finalized and is scheduled to begin in late 2021 and continue towards 2022.
