Huawei MateBook GT 14 notebook may equip Intel Core Ultra 9 chip
A new leak suggests that the Huawei MateBook GT 14 will likely equip the Intel Core Ultra 9 chipset. The information also reveals other key parameters of the upcoming notebook such as RAM, internal storage versions, and performance capabilities.
Huawei MateBook GT 14 has allegedly been spotted at the ChinaJoy 2024 event. The device appeared in White and Gray shades. Now some new details are here, revealing certain important specifications of the device ahead of its launch.
Weibo tipster @UncleKanshan reports that the Huawei MateBook GT 14 will bring three different processor variants: Intel Core Ultra 5, Ultra 7, and Ultra 9 chipset. It will also use 16GB and 32GB RAM to deliver faster and smoother performance.
Intel Core Ultra 9 configuration:
- 6 x performance cores @ 5.1GHz + 8 x efficient cores @ 3.8GHz + 2 x low power efficient cores @2.5GHz.
Further inputs reveal two storage variants for the new notebook. These are 1 TB and 2 TB. In terms of the display panel, the device will likely sport a 14.2-inch screen.
Uncle Kanshan adds that the performance power of MateBook GT 14 will range up to 115W. This implies that consumers won’t deal with any issues while playing heavy games on the device. Although an official confirmation awaits on these specs.
Earlier, a tipster noted that the MateBook GT 14 will install a discrete GPU chip. This implementation will lead to better performance capacity over other PCs. It will eventually improve gaming and 3D rendering, making them more realistic.

Some leaks point out that Huawei will launch the MateBook GT 14 on August 6th. The company has not teased the device yet, unlike the Nova Flip. Although we may soon hear an official announcement for it.
