Being a tri-fold phone, the Mate XT’s dimensions are slightly different than a regular foldable. It is 156.7mm tall and weighs 298 grams. The breadth and width are:

  • Single Screen: 73.5 mm wide, 12.8 mm thick
  • Double Screen: 143.0 mm wide, 7.45 mm/4.75 mm thick

Huawei Mate XT display panel is divided into three parts:

These are LTPO OLED slates with 1.07 billion colors, a P3 wide color gamut, a 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz maximum touch feedback.

Hinge:

Samsung has used a smaller and slimmer “wing plate” that enables smooth folding and unfolding. It aligns the interior to protect the display from any mechanical damage. It also claims to be durable due to special materials.

Huawei, on the other hand, has imposed the first dual-hinge system for its Mate XT. This tech enables the device to fold inward and outward without causing crease issues. It uses two solutions: UTG and non-Newtonian fluid for durability. Read More
