Huawei Mate XT tri-fold won ‘Best Design’ award for 2024

Huawei Mate XT Ultimate tri-fold won the “Best Design” award for 2024 by MKBHD. The device is seemingly ahead of every regular smartphone and foldable in terms of innovation. Its three-fold design can catch your attention in just one glimpse.

Marques Brownlee (AKA MKBHD) is a YouTuber who conducts smartphone awards every year. In the ‘Grand Prix’ scenario, he picks the best handsets in different categories like design, camera, performance, battery, display, games, and chips.

Among several flagship models like Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Pixel 9, the MKBHD gave the “Best Design” award for 2024 to the Huawei Mate XT tri-foldable.

Brownlee said that the Mate XT is a “crazy impressive phone”. It’s super thin and comes with unique hinge frameworks. Meanwhile, the software features easily work on all three screens without interrupting the performance. No doubt, the device is ‘very deserving’ of the Design Award for 2024.

Of course, Mate XT has impressed almost every consumer with its unique tri-folding design and the Z form factor. It comes with the inward + outward folding mechanism. The device is wrapped in genuine plain leather to offer a comfortable grip.
