Huawei today opened the Mate XT tri-fold phone for its first sale and the device has sold out in seconds. The Chinese tech giant has hung the “temporarily out of stock” board on its online store, hinting that it will soon avail the next batch.
Early reports revealed that Mate XT crossed over 6 million reservations in just a few days. Thus, a sold-out scene is no big deal for the world’s first triple foldable.
To confirm the sold-out situation, we reached the official Huawei Mate XT page on VMall. The OEM placed an out-of-stock notice below the device’s shipping details. It seems the Mate XT tri-fold popularity is touching new heights following its first sale.
Further details on the page show that Dark Black and 512GB/1TB storage variants will be available today at 19:08. Interested buyers can wait a few hours to grab the black variant or large storage variants, as per their requirement.

Huawei Mate XT tri-fold comes with a 10.2-inch large screen and 12.8mm thickness. Despite a three-screen-folding model, the device appears the same as Galaxy Z Fold 6 dual foldable in thickness. This ultimately proves that Mate XT is thin and lightweight.
