Huawei showcased several features of the world’s first triple-foldable at the launch event. Yet, its processor details were missing from the stage. Now a new input reveals that the Huawei Mate XT tri-fold runs on the Kirin 9010 5G chipset.
Tipster @DigitalChatStation has shed light on the tri-folding phone’s chip details. When a netizen asked the tipster which chip the Huawei Mate XT foldable has, the tipster said ‘Kirin 9010’. If true, one can remain assured for the tri-fold’s performance.
Kirin 9010 debuted with Huawei Pura 70 Ultra. It has slightly optimized cores than the Kirin 9000s and offers more efficient performance. Here is the CPU structure:
- 2 x 2.3GHz + 6 x 2.18GHz + 4 x 1.55GHz
It is fabricated on the enhanced 7nm N+2 process technology under SMIC foundry and is superior to Kirin 9000s in overall functioning and user experience.

Note that it’s unclear how accurate the current inputs regarding the first tri-fold are. Perhaps we have to wait for the official listing or the mobile app information.
