Huawei Mate X6 stock volume is similar to Mate X5: Tipster
Huawei Mate X6 is in the pipeline with probably sufficient stock volume. A new leak says that the stock capacity for the upcoming dual-folding phone is similar to its predecessor. The company could gradually increase the supply after the launch.
This year, Huawei seems fully prepared to face high-demand scenarios for its new products. The OEM increased most of its devices’ stock by 30-40% before release.
FixedFocus now says the Huawei Mate X6 stock volume is the same as the Mate X5. While the tipster didn’t reveal the exact amount or percentage of the inventory, the overall capacity seems sufficient and may not lead to tight supply situations.
Earlier, a tipster reported that Mate X5’s sales record is 3.5 times higher than that of X3 foldable phones. Even though the company didn’t confirm the news, it hints that the previous-gen models had enough stock to meet the market demand.
Mate 60 series launch immediately resulted in booming sales. Though ‘too much attention’ led to inventory problems and took around 2-3 months to refill the stock. To avoid such situations, the company started increasing the production capacity ahead of the device’s official unveiling.
Huawei Mate X6 is expected to debut alongside the Mate 70 series later this month. An official release time is still unknown but the company will announce it soon.
Last year, Huawei unveiled the Mate X5 a few weeks later after the Mate 60 Pro launch. The company might adopt the same strategy this time and release the new foldable sometime later instead of introducing it at the Mate 70 launch stage.
Mate X6 will likely mirror the Mate XT tri-fold’s design. The device may use a plain leather panel at the back and a thin display on the front with slightly curved corners. The tech giant may introduce new colorways this time for its new folding handset.
