Huawei Mate X6 began to circle in leaks and the latest one says that the foldable could bring a circular camera bump. It also clears the air from the release time and adds details about the device’s chip as well as other key specifications.

According to @SmartPikachu, Huawei Mate X6 may continue to use a circular camera bump, just like its predecessor. For reference, Mate X5 carries a round lens structure on the rear side with an inside squarish plate housing three lenses and an LED Flash.

Perhaps the upcoming foldable might look a lot like the previous-gen model from the back. But a new design upgrade is still expected and may appear later in leaks.

Huawei Mate X6 is also said to bring HarmonyOS NEXT out of the box. The device is already preparing to adapt to the new software system and its features.

It seems the development progress of the Mate X6 and Mate 70 series are currently on the same page. The leak hints at the launch time of the approaching folding device for September this year. Note that it’s the same month as for the Mate X5 handset.

Further inputs reveal that the Chinese phone maker will upgrade its next foldable performance with improved chip and network facilities. The flagship Mate X6 could introduce a new and more efficient Kirin processor to offer robust functioning.

Everything combined, Huawei’s upcoming foldable phone could be a device of new improvements and features with certain similarities to predecessors.

Huawei has not confirmed these inputs so far. Since there’s still a lot of time in the launch of Mate X6, it’s better to take these details with a grain of salt for now.

Kirin + Satellite Features = Huawei Mate X6

It also stated the device could opt for a side-mounted fingerprint solution for enhanced unlocking methods.
