Huawei Mate X6 foldable may offer four new color variants

Huawei is preparing two power-packed products for this month. While we are eyeing the Mate 70 series, a new leak reveals the color variants for the Huawei Mate X6 foldable phone. It also highlights a few other details of the upcoming smartphones.

As noted by FixedFocus, the Huawei Mate X6 foldable phone may offer four color options. These are a bit different from the past shades and even fewer in number.

The tipster implies that the Mate X6 will come in Black, Blue, Red, and Silver variants. The Red shade is probably inspired by the world’s first tri-foldable: Mate XT.

Further input hints that there could be three plain leather options and two glass versions. The standard black, blue, and red colors will likely feature a plain leather back panel. Meanwhile, the white and silver shades may adopt a shiny glass outlook.

For reference, the predecessor Mate X5 is available in five bashing shades: Phantom Purple, Dark Green, Feather Sand White, Feather Sand Black, and Feather Gold.

Out of these five shades, the White and Gold exhibit a glassy back cover while the other has a leather-textured panel. The company might use the same design trick for the upcoming dual-folding phone. But things are still uncertain on this matter.

Based on the leak, there could still be five variants including three plain leather and 2 glass back covers (white and silver). Although the company hasn’t announced the device yet. Hence, we have to wait for the official details to find the input’s accuracy of this input.

Huawei Mate X6 is expected to debut alongside the Mate 70 smartphones. Although a few rumors say that the next-gen dual-foldable may launch later this month.

Regarding design and parameters, the Mate X6 could wrap a Mate XT-inspired thin and textured appearance. It may feature a super flat screen and might use the UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) solution to offer a thin and lightweight feel on the hands.

Mate X6 will likely continue to use the circular camera bump on the back with a powerful chipset and advanced AI features. It will be interesting to see what new upgrades the device will pick up from the tri-foldable smartphone.
