Huawei Mate X3 launched for global consumers

Today, Huawei Mate X3 foldable phone launched in the global market. With this unveiling, Huawei has marked this special device as the lightest and the slimmest foldable smartphone on the planet.

Huawei Mate X3 equips with a camera layout that resembles the shape of a spacecraft porthole. This aesthetic is achieved with a custom diamond blade, a process that takes 29 steps and 12 hours. Meanwhile, the rear panel equips an anti-fingerprint feather sand glass made of the microcrystalline structure.

Aside from its looks, the phone brings the slimmest and thinnest design at 5.3mm depth and 239 grams of weight. This is made possible by using an ultra-slim Type-C component as well as other important components. The device has an iPX8 rating and the screen responds to touches even when it is wet.

Huawei Mate X3 uses a new-gen cross-hinge cooling system. It forces a unique flexible conductive layer to shift heat across the dual parts of the screen and provides 20% larger heat dissipation area⁠. The 1800 W/m·K ultra-high thermally-conductive graphene layer helps the phone keep its cool in intense interactions.

The main display expands at 7.85 inches OLED, up to 120 Hz refresh rate, 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 2496 × 2224 Pixels resolution. There’s a 6.4-inch cover OLED screen with 1-120 Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 2504×1080 pixels resolution.

It is the first foldable smartphone to get two TUV Rheinland certifications (Colour Accuracy & Precise Colour Projection)⁠. The Huawei Mate X3 also boasts true-to-life details right in front of you, supporting 1.07 billion colors and Huawei X-True technology.
