Huawei Mate X2 receiving March 2022 HarmonyOS firmware
Huawei Mate X2 foldable smartphone is getting the March 2022 HarmonyOS firmware that comes with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.231. As per the details, this update added new features to the system and optimizes the overall device performance.
Aside from this, Huawei is reportedly working on its next folding smartphone – Huawei Mate X3. It is likely to feature an outward folding design, hole-punch display, Kirin 9000/Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, pre-installed with HarmonyOS operation system, and more.
The March 2022 HarmonyOS update for Huawei Mate X2 brings some more Huawei watches, wristbands, and MateView device support for the Super Device feature, added Elderly Care to settings and optimizes the gaming experience.
Additionally, it includes the March 2022 HarmonyOS security patch that fixes over 35 CVEs of which 2 CVEs belong to a framework, 8 CVEs are from the system, and the rest 25 are from third-party libraries.
So, if you are a Huawei Mate X2 user, we suggest you grab this update as soon as possible. However, it is rolling out in batches and may take some time to reach you. Keep patience and have a wonderful day!

- Games: Optimize the anti-mistouch operation experience of the game scene.
- Security: The security patch is incorporated into the March 2022 security patch to enhance the security of the mobile phone system.
How to update:
To update your device, open the setting menu, tap on system & updates, software updates, and followed by CHECK FOR UPDATES. Once you get the update, press the download and install option.
