Huawei Mate X2 (HarmonyOS 2) receiving new software update with system optimizations
On July 5, Huawei has started sending a new HarmonyOS 2.0 beta update for Huawei Mate X2 next-generation folding smartphone. To be mentioned, this device has entered the stable update rollout phase, but the company is still sending beta updates.
The beta program is the initial process to test and decide the final features, which were rollout on the large scale. Right after the HarmonyOS 2.0, Huawei begins the public and closed beta for devices in multiple batches limited to the Chinese market.
Talking about Mate X2, on June 2, the company has announced the public beta for this smartphone and since then, it is receiving HarmonyOS 2 beta builds via OTA upgrades.
On June 23, Huawei announced the rollout of stable HarmonyOS 2.0 update for 18 top Huawei devices including Huawei P40, Mate 40, Mate X2, and more.
By taking a look over the new changelog, we have found that this new software release brings optimizations for the calendar interface and improves the sound effect of Bluetooth headsets in some game scenarios.
HarmonyOS 2.0 new version:
Huawei has pushed out a new HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.136 upgraded from 2.0.0.127 for Huawei Mate X2 foldable smartphone in China.
Note: Currently, this HarmonyOS 2.0 update is rolling out to Huawei developers, who have registered in HarmonyOS 2.0 developer beta testing earlier. Afterward, this update will be expanded to users of the above-mentioned devices.
