Huawei Mate X achieved over 1Gbps speed on 5G network test

On June 4, President of Huawei’s Product Division, He Gang, conducted a test on Huawei’s foldable phone Mate X at a research office enabled with 5G network and achieved downloading speed of over 1Gbps.

In the images below, you can see Huawei Mate X supports multi-network module also the phone can automatically switch from 5G to 4G/3G/2G according to network availability. Although, users can also manually choose network modes including the 2G network.

The official performed a speed test while connected with China Unicom’s 5G network and achieved over 1Gbps for downloading and under 100Mbps for uploading.

The official also said that the download speed can exceed 1.2Gbps on a stable network and the current network speed was also very good.
