The anticipation for the Huawei Mate 70 series is rising and a recent input says that the flagship lineup will come with major AI and imaging features. The models will also upgrade the chipset, software, and display for an overall better user experience.
Weibo tipster @DirectorShiGuan notes the Huawei Mate 70 series will bring notable changes over its predecessors. The company will use a new Kirin 5G chip, enhanced display solutions, self-developed software, and an upgraded optical structure.
He further states that Huawei Mate 70 models will be full of AI and imaging surprises. The tech giant will improve the picture quality and other related aspects to a greater extent. Users may obtain the next-level photography experience with the new lineup.
Some previous inputs say that the Mate 70 phones will equip a new imaging chip. It will improve image and video recording. The chip will turn the raw picture into a usable form by reducing noise, correcting autofocus, HDR, and other segments.
The tech giant is already testing several OmniVision camera sensors for the Mate 70 series. The camera specs are still unclear but we may find about them in the future.
Another significant addition could be new AI capabilities. Huawei has been introducing many smart features for its tablets, notebooks, and even the new foldable Mate XT. The OEM has also imposed an upgraded Celia assistant based on Pangu 5.
With Mate 70, the company could bring new AI features, more smart tools for Notes app, and a more efficient Celia app. The exact changes in the imaging and AI capabilities are unknown for now. Yet, we soon grab details on this topic.
Regarding software, Mate 70 will come with HarmonyOS NEXT out of the box. The OS is one of the reasons for the Mate 70 launch delay. As per the details, the company is facing some challenges in adopting the new OS for its next flagship series.
Mate 70 models will likely bring two display versions: flat and small screens as well as big and curved screens. The first one could show up with the base variant while the second could appear on the high-end Mate 70 models with a 1.5K resolution.
The tipster adds that Huawei Mate 70 phones will launch in November this year. Huawei has already confirmed to unveil the flagship in Q4 2024 but the exact time still requires confirmation.
