Huawei Mate 70 series is selling better in the market than the Mate 60 series. A Weibo tipster noted that the flagship lineup sales are doing well in China and could achieve the goal of 10 million+ unit shipments. But the goal relies on supply chain.
DigitalChatStation says that Huawei Mate 70 series is seemingly selling better than Mate 60. The new lineup’s sales significantly increased in the first two weeks of its launch compared to its predecessors. It also has sufficient stock in the background.
Mate 6o series, on the other hand, faced a major shortage right after its release which impacted its sales to some extent. The lineup remained out of stock for weeks. As a result, the company extended the shipment wait for both offline and online stores.
The tipster mentioned that the Mate 70 is not the ‘best-selling phone’ from the brand this year. Perhaps it may take more time to gain proper attention in the market.
The good news is that unlike the Mate 60 series, the growth rate of the Mate 70 series is better. Huawei always takes a long-term approach to its top-end models in terms of sales. Hence, the new devices may soon achieve good results in the market.

As per the tipster, the Huawei Mate 70 series may exceed 10 million units. The lineup was going under shortage supply problems following heavy demand but the company managed the situation. It increased the production which has led to sales growth.
Many analysts earlier predicted that the Mate 70 series lacked enthusiasm in the market. But in a recent interview, the company confirmed that the newly launched flagship is in “excessive” demand. It has crossed 6.7 million pre-orders. The supply chain team even began working overtime to meet consumers’ purchasing needs.
Despite tight supply, the Mate 60 series has reportedly surpassed 14 million units. Thus, we can expect better results for the newly launched handsets in the market.
