Weibo tipster @FixedFocus implies that the Huawei Mate 70 series may use a new IC (Integrated Circuit) chip to enhance the touch response. The chip details are unknown. But it aims to provide a quicker and more responsive touch experience.

IC chip or integrated circuit is a microprocessor in the device that converts input signals into measurable waves. It helps determine the touch position on the screen.

Simply put, as soon as a finger comes in contact with the screen, the chip processes the signals via software algorithms and responds instantly and more efficiently.

The latest input states that Huawei will improve the touch feedback with Mate 70 models to a greater extent. The new touch IC chip in the next Mate lineup may provide a faster and more productive touch response, especially while playing games.
