Honor CEO Zhao Ming posted an interesting comment on his Weibo page following the Huawei Mate 70 series launch. It reads “As powerful as ever, an exciting collision”. The comment seems a response to the newly released flagship phone lineup.

A few weeks ago, Zhao said that Mate 70 is the strongest competitor of all brands in the market. It is quite powerful and will bring several offerings to consumers.

Later, he added that Honor is looking forward to a head-on between the Magic 7 and the Huawei Mate 70 series. Zhao Ming believes that it would be a positive battle between the two premium smartphones in the Chinese consumer market.

Even though Zhao didn’t mention the device name, many netizens in the comment box predicted that the executive was talking about the Mate 70 handsets.
