TechInsights has predicted that Huawei could sell around 3 million units of the Mate 70 series this year. In that case, the new handsets may account for 22% of the company’s total smartphone sales in the Chinese market for the fourth quarter of 2024.

After the Mate 70 series launch, the lineup has started sparking predictions for its sales. Some analysts recently said that the new phones aren’t getting much attention this time. Eventually, this could impact the company’s sales in Q4 this year.

Now TechInsights predicts that the Huawei Mate 70 series could reach a shipment of 3 million units this year. November is already on the verge of ending. Whereas, the latest Mate models will hit the official sale on the 4th of December.

It may seem a piece of good news but the agency shared a hidden meaning behind this prediction. As per the details, Mate 70 series may underperform its predecessor.

However, 3 million is still a good start and Mate 70 smartphones may gain more support and attention in the coming days. Factors like HarmonyOS NEXT and Kirin 9020 claim to offer 40% improved performance over the previous-gen models.

Meanwhile, one can explore multiple AI features in the Mate 70 series. The company has packed its new handsets with surprising and smarter tools that not only make your daily phone operations easier but also provide fun to your hands.

One of these features is the Air gesture file transfer which lets you share a file, image, or video with nearby devices via simple grab and release gestures. You can learn more about this feature HERE.

Huawei Mate 70 series sales performance is currently in doubt. The lineup is expected to underperform than its predecessors and may not achieve a remarkable shipment figure. But this is just the beginning and a global debut could turn the table.
