Huawei Mate 70 series camera features have begun to circle and the latest leak adds that the upcoming lineup could sport a retractable lens, just like the Pura 70 Ultra. The company might adopt the pop-out optical structure for the next Mate series as well.

According to @BeijingDigitalMaster, Huawei may continue the use of its new retractable camera lens for the Mate 70 series. But the tipster didn’t reveal if this feature will remain exclusive to high-end models, like the Pura line or every variant.

The leak initiated a heated discussion among netizens in the comment box. Some said that the pop-out optical structure is the uniqueness of the Pura 70 Ultra smartphone and Huawei may not use it for other premium handsets, at least for now.
