Huawei Mate 70 series begins mass production, reveals supply chain
Huawei Mate 70 series has entered the mass production process, reveals the supply chain. After taking the Mate 70 series components, the Chinese tech giant has now pushed the next Mate flagship into the large-scale production lane.
Supply chain sources stated that the company has been taking Mate 70 components for assembly. As of now, several Huawei Mate 70 models have landed in the mass production stage. It seems that the launch speculations are finally about to end.
Further details say that the device and its manufacturing process may be completed by the end of the next month. Thus, the Mate 70 launch guesses appear quite on track, and Huawei could unveil this flagship smartphone lineup by November.
Early inputs suggested that the Huawei Mate 70 series is larger than its predecessors. The overall stock volume is around 40-50% more than the Mate 60 flagship.
Huawei is probably avoiding problems faced with the Mate 60 series. The previous-gen models struggled due to short-supply challenges. Hence, the company has been working on the Mate 70 shipment and stock volume matters for a long time.
Huawei Mate 60 series launched in August 2023, competing with the iPhone 15 series. Keeping that in mind, many consumers expected to see the next Mate lineup by September, having a showdown with the iPhone 16 models.
However, the company pushed back the Mate 70 launch due to hardware and software issues. Some inputs revealed that the Mate 70 series is taking time to adapt to the new HarmonyOS NEXT operating system.
On the other hand, the next-gen Kirin 5G chip is rumored to face production problems in the house. But the mass production news confirms that the Mate 70 series is all set to debut on the consumer platform by October-end or November 2024.
