Huawei Mate 70 Pro might continue triple front holes design: Leak
A new leak for the Huawei Mate 70 series says that the Pro model could continue to use the triple front holes design. It also reveals similarities and differences between the next Mate flagship and the previous-gen Mate 60 smartphone lineup.
Tipster @SetSunaDigital hints that the Huawei Mate 70 Pro will likely continue the triple front holes outlook, introduced with the previous-gen models. The leak further suggests that the dimensions and positions of these holes are similar to Mate 60.
Note that the tipster has mentioned these details only for the Mate 70 Pro version. Hence it is unclear if all Mate 70 models will feature the same design or whether the company will keep the tri-holes look confined to the high-end variants.
Details imply that Mate 70 Pro’s front look won’t differ much from the Mate 60 phones. However, a few netizens said that the device might become thinner with narrower borders. Changes will also appear in the display solutions as per early inputs.
Some other reports also said that the company could follow the Pura 70 series screen sizes for the Mate 70 handsets. Although another leak contradicted this statement by saying that Huawei will adopt large-size screens for all the variants.
Confusion about the Mate 70 series design persists and may be solved with official statements in the time ahead. Till then let’s see what else we will grab on this subject.
Mate 60 Pro: Triple Front Holes
The Chinese phone maker introduced the Mate 60 series last year as the most interesting, advanced, and game-changer smartphone lineup in the industry.
Apart from the Kirin 5G chip, the most catchy feature is the trio of punch holes on the screen. Official specs details revealed that Huawei has housed a 13MP selfie camera and a ToF (Time-of-Flight) 3D sensor to judge depth and distance.
With the Mate 70 series, Huawei may use upgraded front lens solutions for enhanced recognition facilities and close-up shot capturing.
