Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ likely to bring premium specs over predecessor
A new leak indicates that Huawei is crafting its Mate 70 Pro+ device with premium specs. The flagship model is expected to bring surprising upgrades over its predecessors. It may also carry a higher status in terms of price and parameters.
FixedFocus says this year’s Mate 70 Pro+ handset is far better than its predecessors. The company is tipped to implement some special features and new capabilities to this model, compared to other Mate 70 variants.
The Huawei smartphone lineup’s Pro+ models are the most high-end devices. They often offer exclusive features and specifications.
The tipster further mentioned the Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ will likely bring superior specs over the previous-gen models and its other siblings. It may also carry a bigger price tag than the other Mate 70 smartphones due to its expected “elite” features.
Inputs hint that the Mate 70 Pro+ model could also bring new storage options over its predecessor. A few netizens speculated that the Pro+ device may show slight changes in design and rear camera setup. Though details will be clear after the launch.
Earlier, the same tipster reported that the Mate 70 Pro+ will bring three colors this year. Unlike the Mate 60 Pro+, the company could use new and bashing shades this time. The three leaked color options are Gray, Silver, and Black.
The gray color here might indicate a special ‘Titanium’ variant with a shiny and unique outlook. One can expect better upgrades with the upcoming Pro+ phone.

The model doesn’t differ much from the Mate 60 Pro variant except for a few specs. For instance, it has two shades: Black and Light Gold. It uses only two storage options: 512GB and 1TB paired with 16GB RAM. Another difference is the lens arrangement: 48MP + 40MP (ultrawide) + 48MP (periscope lens).
Rest of the features are the same as the Pro model. Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ equips a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED screen with 1260 x 2720 pixels, 440PPI, and Kunlun Glass 2. It powers up with a Kirin 9000s 7nm chipset linked with Maleoon 910 GPU.
The device packs a 5000mAh battery with 88W wired and 50W wireless charging capacity. The front side contains a triple-hole design with a 13MP selfie shooter and a ToF 3D facial recognition system.
