Huawei Mate 60 Series design finalized, trial production begins
Huawei is preparing to launch a new flagship in the second half of this year. It’s now confirmed that the Huawei Mate 60 Series design is finalized and this flagship has entered trial production, which is an important milestone.
Earlier this year, the Huawei P60 series launched with plenty of features. After the launch event, the tech maker’s consumer product VP, He Gang said that the launch of the Huawei P60 series indicates that Huawei has returned to normal. Indirectly, it reflects that Huawei will introduce Huawei Mate 60 series later in the second half of 2023.
Supply Chain:
According to the latest supply chain insiders, a Huawei supply chain company said that it has supplied manufacturing components for the new Huawei Mate 60 lineup.
This means that the Huawei Mate 60 series has been finalized and has entered the stage of trial production. On the flip side, the next phase will be mass production and will unveil in the second half of the year as scheduled. Yet, we believe that there may be some changes that may come even until the last call for mass production.
It is also worth mentioning that not long ago, Huawei also increased its mobile shipment target in 2023 to 40 million units. This target was set at the level of 30 million units at the beginning of the year, which means that it has great internal confidence in the Mate 60 series.
The past report reveals that the standard version of the Huawei Mate 60 series is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ chip. On the other hand, Huawei Mate 60 Pro could equip with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
There are also rumors that the Huawei Mate 60 series will bring back 5G connectivity to the Huawei franchise. However, the company has not confirmed this news officially on its channels.
The Mate 50 series introduced a number of new powerful technologies for consumers. Therefore, it would be interesting to see what Huawei is planning for the future.
