Huawei Mate 60 series and iPhone 15 to clash next month

Huawei and Apple are looking for September to redeem a clash voucher between the upcoming Huawei Mate 60 series and iPhone 15 lineup in China. Both of these phones will offer new features and the competition is the key to a surge in the market.

iPhone 15:

This year, Apple is facing the worst sales slowdown due to market conditions, which now reflect in its quarterly revenue. However, the company has high hopes for the upcoming devices and the iPhone 15 could play a pivotal role in increasing sales.

Apple only releases iPhones once a year, and the same models run the show until the next launch. While there’s no launch in the middle.

iPhone 15 series will come with substantial upgrades over last year’s iPhone 14. This includes a new and fast Bionic chipset. On the other hand, the company is reportedly working on the front design. The current outlook of bezels could shrink even further with iPhone 15.

Huawei Mate 60:

This is Huawei’s most ambitious smartphone lineup since 2020, the company is expecting to sell a good number of units. Because the Huawei Mate 60 series could be completely different from its predecessor from all sides.

Huawei Mate 60 series could adopt a new pill shape cutout on the center top of the head. This cutout will house a selfie camera and 3D facial recognition. For anyone who’s been following Apple, this design might appear like iPhone 14. But actually, Huawei already researched such display types a long ago.

Aside from that, Huawei has new upgrades for the HarmonyOS operating system. Its version 4, launched at HDC 2023, has new animations and performance improvements with some exclusive features for these smartphones.

After the P60 series, Huawei kept on researching new camera features for the Mate 60. Therefore, you can expect new features in the photography section, especially in the periscope zoom.

Huawei is industry known for its unique design approach and Mate 60 may not be an exception. Therefore, we could see better designs for the customers.
