Huawei Mate 60 Pro can run full 120 frame mode of Honor of Kings game
Tipster DigitalChatStation conducted a frame test on the Huawei Mate 60 Pro with the high-definition version of the Honor of Kings game and found that it could run an average of 119.6fps, which is close to the full 120 frames per second the game offers. The test shows that the game only dropped to 106 FPS at minimum for once and remained on average fps almost 99% gameplay. Previously, users of the latest Huawei flagship were only able to play the game in 60fps.
The latest revelation shows the power and system optimizations of HarmonyOS 4, which comes pre-installed in Huawei Mate 60 series devices. The new Ark graphics engine helps to smooth u graphics and provides a fast experience for gaming and pixel rendering.
Specifically, the Huawei Ark graphics engine has improved the energy efficiency ratio of the graphics stack by integrating technologies. This includes physical motion effects, data-driven rendering, game superframes, and GPU Turbo, enabling smooth and fast animations with each interaction.
The test also shows that the power consumption of the game on the Huawei Mate 60 Pro is 3.6W, which is a bit warm but not much. The power consumption of the Kirin 9000S is low and takes a medium load while the game is running.
Huawei Mate 60 series is powered by Kirin 9000s chipset, which is claimed to be developed by the tech maker in China. The company is also using a custom Maleoon 910 graphics processing unit. The test result on the Honor of Kings game shows that the Huawei Mate 60 Pro has robust performance capability for gaming.
Honor of Kings AKA Kings of Glory is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game and it’s quite popular in China as well as in the global market.
