Huawei Mate 50 series to launch by the end of August

Huawei has finalized the launch date for the Mate 50 series launch event and it could happen by the end of August, suggest a Weibo tipster. So far, Huawei has not published the launch date for this flagship on the official channels but we could expect the warm-up to start next month.

According to the Weibo tipster, Huawei has decided to push Mate 50 series launch by the end of August and it’ll be packed with new technologies including bringing a new camera imaging system. The phone is also one of the first to pre-install the HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system and will be promoted alongside.

Furthermore, the Chinese tech maker has improved this upcoming flagship with new technologies better than the last year’s Huawei P50 series. That’s not it, the tipster suggests that the supply chain for the Huawei Mate 50 series is better and we expect the company to fill in enough device stock for all of the market’s requirements.

Aside from these, the tipster has not revealed any further information about the specs of the smartphone or its appearance but current leaks are far from sufficient.

Previous reports suggest that the adjustment in supply change and the launch strategy of the device have barred Huawei from releasing this flagship on the initial launch date.

Past leaks show us that the Huawei Mate 50 series will be equipped with a new Qualcomm chipset to maximize its use case scenarios, yet the phone will continue to use the 4G network. Moving on, the phone also promotes the 5G case alongside.

Furthermore, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro would feature a notch design display, similar to or better than the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 30 series. However, more inputs are awaited on this matter. Moreover, the company could boast imaging quality with its new XMAGE camera imaging system, which has been recently unveiled by the Chinese tech maker.
