Huawei Mate 50 Series starts receiving August 2024 security patch
Huawei Mate 50 series users have started getting the latest August 2024 security patch. The company is rolling out newest security improvements for the flagship models. Users will also find bug fixes with a more stable performance experience.
August 2024 security patch mends 10 privacy exposures. These include 1 critical, 2 high, and 7 medium-level CVEs. Huawei also treated the third-party library and fixed around 16 vulnerabilities. These issues were affecting EMUI and HarmonyOS devices.
The Huawei Mate 50 series is receiving the new August 2024 security patch with HarmonyOS 4.2.0.135 version. The update doesn’t accompany any major changes to the device. Although the phone holders will observe performance optimizations.
Installing the firmware on your Mate 50 phone will offer a seamless functioning of the device. Users may further get rid of anonymous bugs hidden in the core system.
The new update is spotted on the Mate 50 RS Porsche Design model. But the tech giant will soon roll it out to other variants in China. Till then, you can sneak into the update section of your phone and try downloading the newest update manually.
