Huawei Mate 50 Pro bring thin notch: Tipster
The Huawei Mate 50 Pro notch is in the conversation for quite a time now and the latest tip on this matter reveals that the notch will be thin.
According to the tipster from Weibo, Huawei Mate 50 Pro will come with a notch but it will come with a thin appearance as compared to before. The notch system in Huawei phones started with Mate 20 Pro and the Chinese tech maker has introduced this new type of smartphone head to increase the security aspects of the phone.
The security features of this phone include FaceID and also face-mapping sensors. Also, it supports better portrait photography.
With Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Huawei retained the notch head but only as an aesthetic. Therefore, it is not as functional as the Mate 20 Pro.
Talking about the feature, the Mate 30 pro notch has – a gesture sensor, 3d depth camera, ambient light, proximity sensor, and selfie camera. On the other hand, the Mate 20 Pro notch featured an RGB camera, dot projector, flood illuminator, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and IR camera.
Yes, the Mate 20 Pro was more focused on security, while the Mate 30 Pro was focused on selfies and front camera features.
However, with the past evolutions of both models. Huawei has brought in new technologies that could be blended and form a perfect front camera solution for the Mate series. This solution consists of both better security and front camera quality, tagged with lots of new features.
5G Case:
Aside from this, the tipster revealed that the Huawei Mate 50 Pro will use a 5G network case to enable 5G access for the consumers. Previous reports reveal that the Huawei Mate 50 Pro will only feature 4G chipsets due to the lack of a 5G RF component.
However, Huawei will likely fill the shoes of high-speed internet with new WiFi 6 technology that provides sufficient network connectivity even on 4G.
