[Updated] Huawei Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro pre-order starts in Malaysia
Update: Huawei has officially confirmed that the Mate 50 series will launch on November 3 in Malaysia at 4:45 PM (Malaysia Time).

Huawei Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro are open for pre-order in Malaysia. The series will launch early in November in the market, followed by the shipment. However, there are a bunch of free gifts that you can win if you pre-order one of these flagships.
What’s the new offer:
Pay a deposit of RM1 to pre-order the new Huawei Mate 50 and get a total of 14 chances to win mystery gifts including a HUAWEI Mate 50. Total gift prize pool worth up to RM15,000. Furthermore, the early book will bring RM 99 worth of three months of broken screen warranties.
Lucky draw:
Other than these, participants who make an RM1 deposit will be randomly picked to walk away by a daily lucky draw and weekly lucky draw. The offer stands from October 20th to 2nd November 2022.
Colors:
Huawei Mate 50 Pro is available to pre-book in three colors – Black, Orange, and Silver. While the Mate 50 is available in Black and Silver colors.
Specs:
Huawei Mate 50 features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution as well as a flat panel design. On the other hand, the Mate 50 Pro comes with a 6.74-inch OLED with 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 2616 x 1212 pixels resolution.
These two top-end models equip Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with an octa-core processor.
The Huawei Mate 50 Pro has a rear camera setup of a 50 MP Ultra Aperture Camera (F1.4 – F4.0 aperture, OIS), 13 MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (F2.2 aperture), and 64 MP Telephoto Camera (F3.5 aperture, OIS). The standard Mate 50 comes with a 50 MP Ultra Aperture Camera (F1.4 – F4.0 aperture), 13 MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (F2.2 aperture), and 12 MP Telephoto Camera (F3.4 aperture, OIS).
Compared to the standard version, the Mate 50 Pro boasts a 13 MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (F2.4) + 3D Depth Sensing Camera.
Huawei Mate 50 packs a 4460mAh battery, while the Pro version offers a 4700mAh battery. Both of these models bring a 66W super fast charger and a 50W wireless supercharging.
