Huawei Mate 40E series adapting second beta of HarmonyOS 3
Currently, Huawei is distributing the third beta of HarmonyOS 3 software to its first batch of devices. Alongside, the company is also releasing the second beta of HarmonyOS 3 to its second batch of devices- the Huawei Mate 40E series.
The Huawei Mate 40E series includes Mate 40E, Mate 40E 4G, and Mate 40E Pro. The update is arriving on these smartphones of the Mate 40E series with the compatible model number that is mentioned below:
- Mate 40E (OCE-AN50)
- Mate 40E 5G (OCE-AL50)
- Mate 40E Pro (NOH-AN50)
Version Upgrade:
- Base version- 3.0.0.104
- Upgraded version- 3.0.0.111
It should be noted before the update, whether your smartphone is running over the base version or not. If not, then first upgrade your smartphone to the base version otherwise you will not get the current software update.
You can install this update via the Settings menu and through the My Huawei application also. If changes in the upgraded version are not suitable for you. In that circumstances, you can roll back to the previous software version also.
