Huawei Mate 40E first sale begins, priced at 4,599 yuan (USD 706)
On March 10, Huawei launched the low-end edition smartphone, Huawei Mate 40E in its annual flagship lineup – Mate 40. This new model is almost identical to vanilla Mate 40 but the major noticeable difference is in the processor and main camera that makes it cheaper in price.
The Mate 40E smartphone is powered by a Kirin 990E 5G chipset in place of Kirin 9000E used in the standard Mate 40 variant as well as equipped with a 64MP rear camera. Apart from this, the rest of the specifications are similar to that of vanilla Mate 40.

In terms of camera, the main camera consists of 64MP Ultra Vision Camera (Wide Angle, f/1.9 aperture) + 16 MP Cine Camera (Ultra-Wide Angle, f/2.2 aperture) + 8 MP Telephoto Camera (f/2.4 aperture, OIS), support AF and 13 MP Ultra Vision Selfie Camera.
