Earlier today, we brought the latest update regarding the new display improvements in the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. Now, there’s some more input that allegedly suggests the variants counts of this upcoming flagship lineup.
According to the information coming from Weibo, Huawei Mate 40 series will launch in four models, including Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 RS Porsche Design, and the new Huawei Mate 40 Pro+.
Earlier this year, Huawei introduced Huawei P40 series including three variants – Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+. Compared to the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, the Huawei P40 Pro+ equips five cameras on the rear side and offers higher Memory support as well as new Ceramic design, which gives it a sort of premium look.
Until 2019, Huawei only launched two variants of its Huawei P-series devices for example Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. On the other hand, Huawei Mate series latest installment has three models – Huawei Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, and Mate 30 RS.
A few months ago, Honor also launched its annual devices – Honor 30 series, comprising a “Pro+” model – Honor 30 Pro+ alongside Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro.
Similar to the P40 series, the Mate 40 Pro+ likely to come with advanced hardware upgrades in camera and RAM/Storage options over the standard Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro.
Related information suggests that the Huawei Mate 40 Pro will equip with a large and more curved panel compared to the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. The display will have a 90Hz refresh rate, 5nm Kirin processor, and more.
