New Artistic Themes, camera improvements rolling with first Huawei Mate 40 Series software update
Last week, Huawei unveiled the Huawei Mate 40 series in China, this lineup consists of four models – Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, and Mate 40 RS.
These phones pack with some amazing new specifications including the new camera setups, horizon display, 5nm Kirin 9000 and 9000E chipsets, super-fast charging, and more.
On the software side, the Huawei Mate 40 series runs EMUI 11 out of the box and now receiving its first software update improvements for its core features, as well as adding new ones.
The first update for the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, and Mate 40 RS brings artistic always-on display and home screen themes, optimizations for camera and audio, and fixes for the system. However, this update is not for the standard version of Huawei Mate 40, because it’ll launch in December.

CHANGELOG:
Themes: From Always-on Display (AOD) to lock screen to home screen, the new themes connect every screen with new animation, visual flexibility, and unified.
Camera: Optimize the camera effect of wide-angle, night mode, Leica, and other models to optimize the experience of using video scenes and improve the picture quality.
Audio: Optimize the audio effect, bring a better audio experience
System: Fix the problem that the brightness bar adjustment in some situations does not take effect. optimizes system stability.
EMUI VERSION:
Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, and Mate 40 RS getting these features and improvements with EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.125 SP1 upgrading from EMUI 11.0.0.120 SP3.
