Huawei began delivering the April 2024 update to more Mate 40 Pro smartphone users to boost the safety aspects. After the initial rollout, the tech giant has started expanding the latest firmware to the corresponding phone holders in Europe.

This new update for the Huawei Mate 40 Pro comes with the EMUI build version 13.0.0.270 and carries security patches released in April 2024. Yet you should have sufficient storage to install the latest firmware as it weighs around 486 Megabytes.

While the company has only nominated 13 devices including P, Mate, and Nova series, none of these counts the Mate 40 Pro handset so far. But the device bears excellent features and there could be chances for it to taste a new flavor with EMUI 14.

  3. Click on Check for Updates
  4. Let the device search for new versions
  5. Hit the Download and Install tab
