Huawei Mate 40 and P40 series receiving system stability improvements (CN)

Huawei is rolling out a new HarmonyOS 2 patch for Huawei Mate 40 and P40 series in China. This new software update brings a feature add-on, bug fix, and optimizes the overall user experience.

For the Mate 40 users, this new software update is identified with the latest version 2.0.0.165 (C00E160R7P3), and comes with a hefty update size of 0.95GB. The software package brings a new multi-camera mode and some sorts of optimizations to enhance the user experience.

The Huawei P40 users get rid of the issue in the status bar icon, which was previously showing abnormal signs. This update comes with a download size of 34.57MB. You can check the adapting model below.

HarmonyOS 2.0 

Both the flagship series – Huawei P40 and Mate 40 have received their stable HarmonyOS 2.0 version in China. These smartphones are now receiving regular software updates over the HM OS 2.

Huawei’s self-developed software from Huawei comes with a bulk of new UI changes, and functionalities over the previous EMUI software. It includes a brand new homes screen, service widgets, smart folder, super device, and much more.

New HM OS 2 update coming for Mate 40 series 

Huawei has officially announced a new software update for the Mate 40 series running HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.166. The company says that the current version still has some bugs to be resolved and needs to be fully optimized.

Huawei P40 and Mate 40 series 

The Mate 40 and P40 of Huawei are the two flagship range lineups that come with all high-end offerings. These smartphones feature a premium OLED display with high refresh rates, a powerful processor from Kirin, and many other flagship-grade functionalities.

Furthermore, these two lineups are currently the company’s top priority for getting the new software updates. However, a part of these models is currently running on EMUI software in the global market, while Chinese users have received the new HarmonyOS.
