Huawei Mate 30 Pro could come with five rear cameras
Huawei has filed a patent with CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration) for a smartphone case with a large camera cut-out, that seems to be meant for a Penta-camera.
First spotted by Mobielkopen, the new patent filed by Huawei clearly shows a case that has a much larger hole to accommodate what is likely to be a five-camera setup on the back.
In the image below you can see the camera cut-out has a rectangular shape and is larger than that of the latest Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It seems the smartphone case offers space to five cameras and a flash.
According to the latest rumors the upcoming Huawei P30 will sport three cameras like the Mate 20 Pro, while the Huawei P30 Pro may up that to four.
Many rumors suggest that the Huawei P30 series will be landing at or around MWC at the end of February.
