Huawei Mate 30 Pro August 2022 EMUI update rolling out in Europe
The August 2022 EMUI update for the Huawei Mate 30 Pro device has already reached the markets of the Middle East, now the company is sending this upgrade to users in Europe. The latest firmware brings some fixes to the existing software to elevate the performance of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro smartphone.

Okay! Let’s come back to the topic again, through the August 2022 EMUI update, Huawei has mainly focused on improving the system security of its high-end flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 30 Pro. The changelog of the update does not reveal much this time but it has some security fixes to enhance the protection of the smartphone.
August 2022 Security Patch:
The update comes with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.268 (C432E4R7P4) with an installation size of 341 Megabytes. The security patches are integrated with the August 2022 update to fix certain vulnerabilities in the software such as 2 CVEs from the critical level and 10 CVEs from the high level.
How to get the update:
- Head on to Settings on your smartphone
- Tap on Software Update under Software & Updates
- Tap on Check for updates
- Then tap on the Download and Install option
Before downloading the update:
- The update will not erase your personal data. Yet, it is recommended to have a backup of your data before updating.
- Download the update through the WiFi connection.
- If any issue happens during the update, immediately call the Huawei customer care helpline for assistance.
- The update may take some time to restart your phone.
